In life, it's important to take the little wins when they come. Embrace the moments that bring you peace. Those sweet seconds where nothing else around you even matters. If it was as simple as hitting a pause button, you'd hit it with all your might.
I was fortunate to have a couple of those moments this weekend. They didn't last long, but they made all the difference. The big feelings that came with those sweet seconds was all the reassurance I ever needed that I was right. Theres more work to be done, but in the end, it will be so much more than I have ever wished for.
Time is a funny thing. There is never enough of it. Once its gone, its gone. Moments become memories almost instantly. Someone once told me "I want to keep what's ours, just ours, for as long as we can..." and today that hit me a little bit differently.
I had the honor of meeting a group of people whom, for a couple of years now, I respect, admire, and look up to as the top tier of their crafts. I also had the pleasure of meeting some new people to add to the ranks. Each one has their own set of unique qualities and skills and bring a their own special something to the table. If ever they happen to read this, they know who they are. Thank you for the work that you do within the cat community and for sharing your knowledge and talents with the world. Education is everything and ya'll make it hella fun to learn! (Within the next day or two, I'm going to link each of their social profiles here. Take a little looky look. Each share, like, follow, donation, ect.. goes to a worthy cause and helps to support the continued work that they do. It would mean everything)
The little things that matter most. These are a few examples of little things that make all the difference. Let your people know you value them. Pay attention to their coffee order. Let them know they make you smile. Show them that what they do matters. Its those little things that make the biggest impact.
